  3.           WHAT PC-STYLE DOES

  5.                Looking  at  different aspects of your writing  is  the
  6.           basis  of  how PC-Style helps you.   It's not just what  you
  7.           write, but how you write that makes the difference.  And the
  8.           words you select,  as well as how you use them in sentences,
  9.           can make or break your writing style.

  11.                PC-Style  lets  you compare what you have written to  a
  12.           series  of  scales.    That shows you - graphically  and  in
  13.           percentages  - the strengths and weaknesses of your writing.
  14.           You  can  then  rewrite to improve weak areas  and  run  the
  15.           program again.  You can even have a printout of each report.

  17.                The  program  comes with settings (defaults)   for  the
  18.           scales, from which your writing is analyzed.  You can adjust
  19.           those  settings  any  time  you  want.    The  settings  are
  20.           controled by a .PRO file, which is easy to modify.   You can
  21.           change  the range on any scale.   Also,  you can increase or
  22.           decrease  the  number  of  words in  the  PC-Style  lexicon.
